What is the Vegetarian Society Approved vegan trademark? The Vegetarian Society Approved vegan trademark is used to identify products that do not contain animal ingredients and products that display the Vegetarian Society Approved trademark have had to meet the following criteria:

✓ Measures in place to avoid cross-contamination during production
✓ GMO-free
✓ No animal testing carried out or commissioned

Our default choice for many projects: fast-drying, low odour and compatible with standard paper recycling.

Where lamination is essential (for heavy handling or long-life packs), we’ll discuss options such as thinner films or alternatives, and clearly explain any impact on recyclability.
Special finishes
Foiling, embossing or spot varnish can still be part of an eco-friendly pack when used selectively on sustainable board. We’ll help you keep overall material usage efficient.

Reusable formats
Sturdy boxes that can be repurposed or kept by customers extend the life of the materials and add value to your brand.
We’ll also help you add simple on-pack instructions or icons (for example, “Recycle with cardboard” or “Reuse this box”) so your eco investment translates into real-world behaviour.
